Daily reports for families
Set up what your team logs so parents see their child's day without anyone writing it twice.
Daily reports are how families see their child's day — meals, naps, activities, and photos — without your team writing anything twice.
Choose what your team logs
In Settings → Daily reports, turn on the items you want tracked:
- Meals and bottles
- Naps and rest time
- Diapers and bathroom
- Activities and learning notes
- Photos
Keep the list short at first. You can always add more once the routine sticks.
How the day flows
- Educators log moments throughout the day from the app — a few taps per entry.
- Entries attach to the child and the time automatically.
- At pickup (or when you choose to send), the report goes to that child's guardians.
- Parents open it from their portal or the app and can reply with a message.
Photos stay inside your center's account. Only a child's own guardians can see their reports, and nothing is shared publicly.
Tips that keep it sustainable
- Log as you go instead of saving it all for the end of the day
- Use quick activity templates for things that repeat
- Let parents message back in the same thread so questions don't scatter across email and texts
