Blythe before and after

If you read my About page, you know I get into many different things. One of them is Blythe dolls, I customized mine and it was pretty painstaking: sanded and carved face, nose, lips, gaze correction, sleep eyes, hand painted eyes, faceup(makeup), pierced ears, new eyelashes and fully rooted Suri alpaca hair (knot method). Pics are only headshots because I haven’t gotten around to doing clothes or styling the hair yet. Overall, I’m happy with the results.

    1. You can Google Blythe, they were first produced in the U.S in the 70’s and got pulled because kids found them creepy. Later, they were popularized by Gina Garan who made a book with photos of them. Now they’re kinda cult and have an adult following with lots of people customizing them.
I would like to make clothes for them but still trying to find time with my other projects going on.
